For the film’s characters, however, these spaces become places where they can exist without judgement. Between shelves, boxes and locked doors, each character creates a fragile, personal world of their own, transforming the impersonal storage units into places where longing, intimacy and vulnerability can find expression. Their stories form a quiet portrait of a society in which one needs a place outside of everyday life to fully be oneself.
